Jerry O'Connell stars as Quinn Mallory, a
handsome, genius college student who
discovers the means of travelling to parallel
universes.
O'Connell boasts an impressive credit list in
both television and film. Recently, he was appeared in the comedy "Tomcats" and the space drama "Mission to Mars."
O'Connell co-starred with Neve Campbell and
Courtney Cox in the successful sequel "Scream
2". He also appeared in "Jerry Maguire" with
Tom Cruise and Kelly Preston. In the film
O'Connell played Frank Cushman, the star
quarterback being pursued by sports agent
Jerry Maguire (Cruise). As a young boy, he
appeared in several television commercials and
at the age of 11, co-starred in Director Rob
Reiner's hit film, "Stand By Me." He also
co-starred in the feature film "Calendar Girl" with
actor Jason Priestley and played the title role in
"Joe's Apartment," a film based on the MTV
short of the same title.
O'Connell's television credits include the
critically-acclaimed Hallmark hall of Fame
Presentation "What the Deaf Man Heard"
starring Matthew Modine. In addition he
appeared in "My Secret Identity," "Camp
Wilder" and "Olie Hopnoodle's Haven of Bliss"
for PBS, as well as the Hallmark Hall of Fame
presentation, "The Room Upstairs." He has also
starred in such television movies as "The
Ranger, the Cook and the Hole in the
Sky" and "Blue River." He also appeared in the miniseries hit, "The 60's"
A native New Yorker, O'Connell is a 1995
graduate of New York University, where he
majored in Film and Television. He was also a
member of the university's sabre fencing team.
