The Wild Cards

Nathan West's (Morgan Weisser) dream was to become a colonist with his girlfriend, Kylen Celina.
However, he was forced to stay behind so that InVitros could be on board the colony ship.
He joined the marines in the hope that he would be assigned to sentry duty for the colony.
However, his resolve changed when the colony ship carrying Kylen was shot down by the Chigs.

Shane Vansen (Kristen Cloke) joined to follow in the footsteps of her marine officer parents who were killed in a war
with Artificial Intelligence units. Since she had to be a "mother" to her two younger sisters,
she posses the command skills that almost immediately make her the leader of the 58th.

Cooper Hawkes (Rodney Rowland), a 6-year old InVitro,
was sentenced to the marine corps when he retaliates against some men who were trying to hang him.
However, he has found his place in the 58th and has become a valuble member of the team.

We never really discover why Paul Wang (Joel De La Fuente)
joined the Marines, but he quickly went from a scared cadet to an important member of the squadron.
Always ready with a joke, his callsign is "Joker."

Vanessa Damphousse (Lanei Chapman) already posesses a college degree,
but shejoined the Marines "To find a direction." This is all the reason she gives! :)

The Wild Card's commanding officer, T.C. McQueen (James Morrison),
is an InVitro who joined the corps for life.
He wants to show the world that InVitros can do just as well as humans.
